How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the current state of the terminological system of the electrical engineering industry through the prism of normalization activity – unification, codification and standardization – at different linguistic levels, in particular lexical and word-forming ones. The authors have defined the research methods in the field of terminology, and also proved that the study of the peculiarities of the creation and functioning of the term is a priority task, since scientific research and the evolution of society require clarification and correction of concepts, generalization and organization of knowledge about them. Taking into account the Ukrainian language requirements for scientific and technical terms, the authors have pointed out the difficulties of the translation and interpretation of some terms, evidenced in the works of specialists. With reference to the state standards of Ukraine and professional dictionaries, some recommendations on term usage and term creation have been provided.
