How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The composition and structure of homogeneous SiC 1.4 , SiC 0.95 , SiC 0.7 , SiC 0.4 , SiC 0.12 , and SiC 0.03 layers obtained by multiple high-dose implantation of carbon ions with energies of 40, 20, 10, 5, and 3 keV into silicon are analyzed using Auger electron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy. The effect of decomposition of carbon and carbon-silicon clusters on the formation of Si-C tetrahedral bonds and on crystallization in silicon layers with high and low concentrations of carbon is considered.
