How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the viscous Burgers’ equation for the isothermal flow of power-law non-Newtonian fluids ρ(∂tu+u∂xu)=μ∂x∂xup−2∂xu, augmented with the initial condition u(0,x)=u0, 0 0, and T>0. We show that this initial boundary problem has an unique solution in the Buchner space L20,T;W01,p(0,1) for the given set of conditions. Moreover, numerical solutions to the problem are constructed by applying the modeling and simulation package COMSOL Multiphysics 6.0 at small and large Reynolds numbers to show the images of the solutions.
