How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Suicide attempts among adolescents aged 13–18 in Kazakhstan are a critical public health problem: the prevalence is 5–10%, higher than the CIS average (UNICEF, 2021; WHO, 2025). Globally, suicide among young people aged 10–24 remains a challenge; in Kazakhstan, the rate decreased from 23.7 per 100,000 in 2011 (15–19 years: 23.5; 20–24 years: 30.9) to 15–20 in 2021–2023. More than 90% of cases are associated with undiagnosed mental disorders (WHO, 2024; UNICEF, 2023).
