How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This study presents the synthesis of the CdO/por-CdS/CdS heterostructure, where a porous CdS layer is employed as a buffer layer. The elemental composition of the structure was investigated using EDX surface mapping, where cadmium and sulfur exhibited uniform distribution, and cadmium oxide was predominantly detected on spheroidal crystallites. Raman spectroscopic analysis confirmed the presence of CdS and CdO crystalline phases, indicating the material's partial amorphousness. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed characteristic peaks for CdS and amorphous features in the structure, which might be associated with ultrafine crystallites and lattice deformations. The gathered data underscore the significance of the proposed method in synthesizing CdO/por-CdS/CdS heterostructures with porous layers serving as a buffer, paving the way for future research and the fabrication of materials for photocatalysis and magnetoelectronics.
