How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Dielectric films have been prepared by the electrophoretic method from metal alkoxide solutions. The film formation process by hydrolysis of metal alkoxide/alcohol solutions consisted of 3 main stages: preparation of stable organosols with monodisperse particles; electrophoretic deposition; and dehydration of gel, which was formed after electrophoretic deposition on the stainless steel substrates. The authors investigated the influence of sol age on the quality of the films. It was also observed that internal structural variations in organosols significantly alter the sintering behavior of oxide films and affect their subsequent crystalline transformation. The formation properties of Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ thin amorphous films and films armoured by "whiskers" are discussed.
