How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article presents the results of numerical simulation of a novel biogas burner. The burner uses biogas with the composition 60% - СН4 и 40% - СО2. The basics for modeling are given, as well as the results of modeling. Analysis of the results shows that with an increase in excess air, there is a possibility of reducing the concentration of nitrogen oxides by 58% from the base value at excess air ratio α=1. The conducted numerical study showed that the use of preliminary fuel preparation is one of the most effective ways to reduce the concentration of nitrogen oxides. Pre-mixing reduces local "rich" fuel concentrations in the combustion zone, which reduces the formation of high-temperature zones in these areas. As is known, the formation of nitrogen oxides primarily depends on temperature; therefore, the decrease in local high temperatures reduces the concentration of NOx.
