How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Medical and biological data are the result of a set of observations (tens, hundreds, thousands of measurement results of individual characteristics) over some random variable. Therefore, there is a problem of compact description of the available data. To do this, use the methods of descriptive statistics-describing the results with the help of various indicators and graphs, for visual representation and primary analysis of the measurement results. The idea of descriptive statistics is very simple – to give a general idea of the values that a variable takes. Accordingly, in medical statistics as a scientific and practical discipline, three main interrelated components can be distinguished:public health statistics;health system statistics;theoretical and methodological foundations of medical statistics. This article represents the data analytics for the medical statistics at the burn disease example.
