How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This Study is dedicated to figure out the influence of cultural based activities in foreign language teaching through conducting number of lessons in Language School at Süleyman Demirel University. We have tried to find out the attitudes of students towards teaching/learning foreign language through cultural based activities and the effects of them on developing communicative and linguistic competence. Among them were used: games, role-plays, video and authentic materials that can help and encourage students to sustain their interest and work. Through practicing various cultural based tasks students explored communicative skills. The tasks conducted both for the teachers’ and students’ insights into how cultural based activities can be used not only to develop students’ confidence and language skills but also to expand their sense of awareness of intercultural concerns in L2.
