Abstract
The article considers the immersion method as one of the most effective methods of teaching a foreign language. It describes the theoretical foundations of the immersive approach, its psycholinguistic and pedagogical advantages, as well as practical aspects of its implementation in the educational environment. Successful examples of the method’s application in different age and cultural groups are analysed. Special attention is paid to the role of the teacher, organisation of the language environment and motivation of students, development of flexible thinking, communicative and socio-cultural competences. Мақалада иммерсион әдісі шет тілін оқытудың ең тиімді әдістерінің бірі ретінде қарастырылады. Импрессивтік тәсілдің теориялық негіздері, оның психолингвистикалық және педагогикалық артықшылықтары, сондай-ақ білім беру ортасында іске асырудың практикалық аспектілері сипатталған. Әр түрлі жастағы және мәдени топтарда әдісті қолданудың сәтті мысалдары талданады. Оқытушының рөліне, тілдік ортаны ұйымдастыруға және оқушыларды ынталандыруға, икемді ойлауды, коммуникативті және әлеуметтік-мәдени құзыреттілікті дамытуға ерекше назар аударылады.
