How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the today's world, the labor market of Kazakhstan faces serious structural challenges exacerbated by digitalization in various sectors of production. The current agenda includes a shift from the profession-focused approach to one based on the skills that will be in demand in the future. This study aims to examine modernization and transformation of the labor market and the role of education in this process. An analytical review of the labor market in Kazakhstan was conducted that identified the key development trends. Today, mastering a single profession is no longer enough to achieve a successful career. In this regard, it is important to note that the government of Kazakhstan is interested in reforming the technical and vocational education system. New trends in the Kazakhstan labor market that are important to consider in the transformation process include digitalization and automation, the presence of platform employment, and the growth of the youth population.
