How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines ways of implementing gamification in general secondary schools. The concept of gamification is defined, and its effectiveness in teaching children is explained. The advantages of using game elements in the educational process are described in detail, demonstrating how they increase students’ motivation to learn, enhance their engagement, and contribute to deeper understanding of learning materials. The article provides specific examples of applying gamification in classroom practice and highlights the opportunities it creates for teachers. In addition, the study emphasizes the role of gamification in fostering a healthy competitive environment among students and in developing teamwork skills. Transforming the educational process into a game-based format is viewed not only as a tool for external motivation but also as an important factor in strengthening learners’ intrinsic cognitive interest.
