How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the influence of currents in one of two adjacent bus ducts on the electromotive force at the terminals of inductive coils mounted outside the enclosure of the second bus duct. The research methodology is described. The paper presents the results of computer modeling of magnetic fields around two bus ducts, installed side by side and rated for 10 kV, as produced by industry. Coefficients and a formula based on the Biot – Savart – Laplace law are provided, enabling the calculation of the total magnetic field induction at the location of the inductive coils, taking into account the influence of currents in the neighboring bus duct. It is shown that the greatest effect on the inductive coils is exerted by the current in the enclosure of the adjacent bus duct, which occurs during double earth faults. It has been established that, for the design of current protection systems, it is advisable to install the inductive coils opposite the busbars located farthest from the neighboring bus duct
