How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the processing of chromium-containing dust caught by the wet method from the exhaust gases of a ore-thermal furnace during the smelting of carbonaceous ferrochrome. Dust is characterized by low content of chromium (III) oxide and high content of magnesium oxide. As you know, a high content of magnesium oxide negatively affects the properties of slag in the smelting of ferrochrome. In this regard, the best way to process dust is to obtain a chromium concentrate by removing magnesium and other metals from it. Existing methods of processing chromium-containing waste show the possibility of using an inexpensive reagent for this purpose – sulfuric acid. The aim of the authors of the article was to test the possibility of using sulfuric acid for dust processing. The laboratory experiments conducted by the authors also showed the possibility of obtaining a chromium concentrate from dust using sulfuric acid as a reagent.
