How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article deals with one of the most important decisions of the Republic of Kazakhstan made after independence – the policy of gathering ethnic Kazakhs in the world to their historical Motherland, as well as the issue of repatriates who returned to the country in the course of this policy. The laws and changes adopted in relation to ethnic Kazakh repatriates are presented in a chronological system, besides changes and amendments on this issue are also considered. The calls to unite compatriots and improve the economy and the socio-ethnic well-being of the country have gone down in history as one of the most far-sighted decisions of the Kazakhstani president N.A. Nazarbayev. Repatriates returned to their homeland after the Republic of Kazakhstan gained sovereignty. They began participating in social, economic and political life, and exerted influence in all spheres of the young independent country. In the article the legislative changes that took place in the period from 1991 to 2023 on the basis of statistical data and the number of ethnic Kazakhs, who returned back to the historical homeland are summarized.
