How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article analyses the features of political discourse in the Russian language on the material of speeches and publications by the famous Kazakh political scientist Dosym Satpayev. Political texts with an acute critical focus are often cited in this study. It analyzes publications, interviews, and reports by political scientist Dosym Satpayev. The use of various linguistic means by a political scientist shows a high mastery of political discourse, which helps to keep the audience's attention and interest in the speech. Dosym Satpayev is presented as a highly educated person with a wide range of interests, who is an independent expert in the political arena, and who has his own opinion on a number of diverse issues and problems, sometimes differing from the opinions of other political leaders. The analyzed material showed that the figurative means of language enliven and actualize the text of the political scientist. The expressiveness of D. Satpayev's speech is influenced by special linguistic structures that support the attention and interest of the listener. In the course of the research, it was proved that there is a universal set of rhetorical tropes and figures in Dosym Satpayev's speeches, interviews, and articles, the configuration of which varies, being a variable characteristic of the language identity of a political scientist.
