How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

University graduates are part of the country's intellectual potential and their employment contributes to the socio-economic development of the country. This study aims to analyze the possible economic effect of employment of university graduates in Kazakhstan and define opportunities for Triple Helix Model implementation. To achieve the research aim, an autoregressive distributed lag model of the effect of the number of graduates on GDP per capita was used. Information base of the study was a secondary data of Kazakhstan’s Bureau of national statistics from 2000 to 2021. According to the results of the study, an increase in the number of university graduates has influence on the economic progress of Kazakhstan. So, a 1,000-person increase in graduates improved GDP per capita by $55 in the current year, while a 1,000-person increase in graduates three years ago increased the GDP per capita by $58 in the current year. The practical value of the study is to justify the need to apply the Triple Helix approach in managing the employment of university graduates in Kazakhstan.
