How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The following paper highlights concerns about pharmaceutical pollution of the environment. Currently, pharmaceuticals play an important role in human life. People use them in thehuman and veterinary medicine. These chemicals are designed to treat illnesses of living organisms. However, there is lack of data on the fate and effect of medicines after discharge them to the environment. Recent studies of researchers found various concentration of drugs in sewage systems andsurface waters in Europe and United States of America (USA). However, the occurrence of drugs inthe environment is still poorly studied. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that pharmaceutical ingredients can have adverse effect to biota, and especially to marine environment. Aquatic organisms canbe vulnerable even at low concentration of medicines. Analgesics, anti-inflammatories and antibiotics are the most detected therapeutic class of pharmaceuticals in the world and they can have themost inimical impact to the environment. It is significant to continue the study about contaminationof drugs on the environment and conduct ecotoxicological studies on the effect of them to biota
