How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Visible thinking is a consistent, flexible and methodical approach to the organizationof the educational process, allowing teachers to integrate the development of students’ thinkingwith the study of the materials. Currently, most foreign language teachers are unable to makefull effective use of visual learning tools. For this reason, they often serve as decorations, rather than a tool for developing students’ language and thinking skills. As a result, thisarticle examines key issues of using visual materials based on the principles of visible thinkingin teaching English, proposed by experienced teachers from various backgrounds. Hence, asociological survey was conducted among teachers in Kazakhstan, as well as interviews withteachers from Turkey and Kazakhstan. The survey offered questions that allowed delving intopractical ideas and recommendations on the use of visible thinking in teaching English. Themain results showed that images are the most effective material among other visual means inteaching English. Moreover, the article contains recommendations on how to integrate thisapproach in the English classroom under the principles of visible thinking.
