How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this study, a comprehensive analysis of existing solutions for encoding barcodes in the field of biometrics is presented, with a special emphasis on integration into QR codes. The research begins with an introduction to the analysis topic, highlighting the critical intersection of biometrics and QR code technology. The main objective is to assess potential areas of application and the advantages of using QR codes as a means of encoding biometric data. The study underscores the importance of this integration in strengthening security measures, optimizing identification processes, and expanding the scope of application in various domains. Additionally, the study describes the methodology employed, including a detailed review of relevant literature and a general analysis of existing solutions. The results of this research shed light on the effectiveness and adaptability of biometric QR codes, providing valuable insights into their practical application. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of biometric technology, illuminating the innovative use of QR codes. The research findings serve as a valuable resource for both academic circles and practical implementation, offering a foundation for further refinement of secure identification methods.
