How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the conditions of intensification and specialization of beef cattle breeding on an industrial basis, high productivity and regular reproduction of animals determine the profitability of breeding farms. The article presents experimental data on the evaluation and characteristics of reproductive qualities of cows of different genotypes in a comparative aspect. To conduct research on the farm, 2 experimental groups of Aberdeen-Angus cows of different genotypes were formed: group I – cows of Estonian breeding, group II – cows of domestic breeding. Reproductive qualities of Aberdeen-Angus cows of domestic and Estonian breeding were studied in “Kolos” LLP-firm of Denisovsky district of Kostanay region: age at the first insemination and hotel, live weight at the first insemination, duration of the dry period, pregnancy, service period, interbody period. The parameters of the indices of reproductive characteristics of cows of different genotypes – the coefficient of reproductive ability (KRA) and the Doha index are calculated. It was found that the obtained results of the studied cows of different genotypes do not vary significantly. Indexes: KRA is 0.87 for Estonian – bred cows, 0.89 for domestic-bred cows, and the values of the Doha index are 42.3% and 43.2%, respectively, which characterize the fertility of cows as an average value. However, according to many calculated parameters, the reproductive qualities of cows of Estonian breeding are superior to cows of domestic breeding.
