How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the European experience of statistical monitoring in the field of occupational health and safety. One of the noteworthy aspects highlighted by the authors is the comprehensive system of principles that reflects high requirements for organizing the procedure of statistical observation in the field of safety, taking into account a wide variety of factors and methodological approaches. In Kazakhstan, there are seven such principles. Overall, they largely correspond to European principles; however, some have not yet been implemented in domestic legislation. The authors emphasize the importance of modernizing the national statistics system for both workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Alongside this, the authors also delve into the objectives of the occupational safety monitoring system, methods of data assessment and analysis, and the incorporation of European Union advancements into harmonizing statistics within a unified information space. This is illustrated using the statistics of European countries on workplace accidents. The research is based not only on domestic but also on foreign normative and legal documents in the field of occupational health, taking into account practical aspects of data collection methods and analysis. The research employed methods of formal logical analysis and comparative analysis.
