How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this poster paper, we present a simulator for Time-Slotted (TS) LoRa networks for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The purpose of the simulator is to assess the performance under different conditions that cannot be easily assessed by prototypes which usually consist of limited number of devices. It allows the user to enter in different parameters such as the number of nodes, the simulation time, and the packet size. The simulator implements several functionalities such as registration, data transmissions in slots, desynchronizations due to clock drift, and a path-loss model. Detailed statistics are generated such as the number of packets lost, the energy consumption, and the average registration time. Its functionality is validated using a small-scale real-world experiment that shows similar results.
