How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Coefficients of correlation are calculated for the daily electron fluence, solar wind velocity, and the Ар-index of geomagnetic activity with different delays, along with electron fluences obtained for subsequent days using a dataset from 35 years (1987–2021) of measuring magnetospheric electron fluxes with energies of more than 2 MeV in geostationary orbits, solar wind velocity, and geomagnetic activity. A three-parameter model is developed that allows the fluence of high-energy magnetospheric electrons for the next day to be predicted on the basis of the prehistory of the behavior of the fluence, data on the Ap-index of geomagnetic activity, and measurements of the solar wind speed. Model calculations are in good agreement with experimental data with a high coefficient of correlation (0.82) for the period 1987–2021.
