How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the natural grassland regions for livestock production in the highlands of Eastern Turkey by utilizing Remote Sensing (RS) techniques and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications. It was concluded that the natural grasslands make up 2/3 of the whole study area in Kars province. However, in terms of plant cover density this only accounts for 1/3rd of the entire area. In other words, just 181 275.7 hectares out of a total of 638 393.5 hectares of grassland are in a better state for cattle grazing. Finally, digital maps of the greatest quality grasslands were produced.
