How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

During the years of independence of Kazakhstan, the development of small and medium-sized businesses has been of strategic importance for improving the quality of life of the population and the economy as a whole. Despite the huge number of programs and additional state support measures, the contribution of small and medium-sized businesses to the country's GDP is still quite low, despite the money resources spent by the state. In this article, the authors show the structure of registered small and medium-sized enterprises by type of economic activity, the number of active small and medium-sized businesses in the regions, the share of SMEs in GDP, and the level of support for entrepreneurship in developed countries during a pandemic.Recommendations on the formation of new directions for the development of entrepreneurship and relevant state anti-crisis measures for adapting small and medium-sized businesses in the post-crisis period are proposed. In order to ensure the reproduction process, it is necessary to revise the initial strategic goals for the development of business structures as part of the process of adapting to changing environmental factors, bringing financing for small and medium-sized businesses to the level of support for developed countries, increasing entrepreneurial and financial literacy of the population, providing preferential terms for renting space, etc.
