How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician Esen Abikenovich Bekturov, a prominent Ka-zakhstani chemist who has made an outstanding world contribution to the physical chemistry of polymers. His scientific interests focused on the study of water-soluble and water-swelling polymers, interpolymer and polymer-metal complexes, polymeric catalysts and associates, polymeric hydrogels, molecular complexes of polymers, nanomaterials and nanotechnology are summarized in numerous monographs published in Japan, Germany, Poland, and Kazakhstan. The essay briefly reflects the life path, creativity, scientific and pedagogi-cal activity of Professor Esen Bekturov, as well as the most important and prominent publications. His role in the transfer of knowledge, training of high-qualified specialists, his contribution to Research and Develop-ment (R&D), recognized by numerous International and Republican awards and participation at International Conferences and Symposiums, are highlighted.
