How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract A theory of multicomponent diffusion based on Fick’s law is proposed, in which, when writing the Maxwell–Stefan equations, a multicomponent mixture appears to consist of two components: the isolated substance and all the others with average characteristics. The number of diffusion coefficients is significantly reduced, a method for calculating them is indicated, and they strongly depend on the concentration of the mixture components. Based on the results of this theory, we simulated the combustion of a stoichiometric H2/O2 mixture. For each component, large chemical works are carried out with variable signs, but in total they partially destroy each other. The analysis of the effect of changing the composition of the mixture on the transfer processes, temperature, and combustion rate was carried out.
