Data confidence 70 medium
How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

As a scientific method, in addition to the analysis of scientific works on this topic, data from a study conducted by the international organization Internews-Kazakhstan on the need for information in the media community, as well as the results of a survey conducted among students by the author of this article. The study showed that new reforms in journalism education are needed, given the failures of past reforms in the media education system. Mastering new digital technologies in journalism education requires adapting curricula to the media market. Curricula for journalism education should provide for learning based on professional experience, and educational institutions should ensure that theory, practice, and production are well connected so that students can get jobs in their final year.
