How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article deals with the hydronyms of the Syr region, which contain historical data, preserved manifestations of material and spiritual culture for centuries. Syr, which has long been the cradle of civilization is rich in such names. It is known that historical toponyms, as a relic heritage of the past, «remember» the natural conditions of the region, important events in the history of the local people and bring them to the present day. Therefore, theinterest in toponyms arouses the desire of each people to pay special attention to the meaning of the names of land, water, rivers, lakes and to analyze the literary and cognitive basis of those names. Scientists as G.Konkashbayev, N.Bayandin, A.Abdrakhmanov, who studied the toponyms of Ka- zakhstan from the historical and etymological point of view, made a historical-linguistic analysis of the oikonyms of Kyzylorda. Analyzing the work of researchers such as N.A.Prmanova, the hydronyms of the Syr region were thematically systematized. Zootoponyms, phytotoponyms, anthroponyms, genotoponyms related to certain events, the top- onyms that reflect the diversity of geographical features were confirmed by specific examples and there were given some data on their origin. The relevance of the topic was confirmed by the comprehensive study, analysis, systematization and generalization of hydronyms of the Syr region. Key words: Syr region hydronyms, linguistic image of the universe, toponymic image of the universe, cognitive toponymy, theoretical paradigm of toponymy, linguocognitive aspect.
