How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This paper presents a two-dimensional model for assessing the readiness of the city for smart transformation. The first dimension of the model is aimed at the evaluation of the readiness of six city divisions (economy, people, environment, living, mobility, and governance). The second dimension measures the development level of different types of city infrastructure, such as information and communication technology (ICT) and non-ICT infrastructure. Non-ICT infrastructure includes buildings, roads, education, and healthcare system. ICT infrastructure is related to the whole technological base of the city (ICT hardware), web and mobile applications available for citizens and guests (ICT software), and digital literacy of the population. The model has been applied to assess the readiness of Turkistan city, which currently undergoes a huge transformation from an ancient town to a smart city convenient for the residents and tourists.
