How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Objective: The goal of the study is to determine the interrelation between comorbid pathology and angiographic features of the coronary stream. Design and method: Retrospective analysis of 500 clinical records of patients hospitalized at the Cardiology Center. The estimation of clinical diagnoses was carried out according to the rules of formulation and in accordance with ICD-10 revision. Statistical processing of results was performed in Microsoft Excel and Statistica Soft programs. The dependence of a parameter on one or more independent variables was revealed by means of regression analysis, where R-square (determination coefficient) and coefficients were taken into account. The higher the determination coefficient is, the higher the dependence is. Results: The age structure of the patients was determined: from 25 to 44 years old - 27,6% (138), from 44 to 60 years old, mainly about 2/3 of patients were over 60 years old. Single vessel disease was found in 216 patients (43.2%), double vessel disease - in 111 patients (22.2%), three-vessel disease - in 66 patients (13.2%) and trunk disease - in 4 patients (0.8%). Taking into account the angiographic results, myocardial revascularization (balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting) was performed in 57.4% patients (287), coronary bypass surgery - 22% patients (110), and optimal medication therapy was recommended for 10.2% patients (51). It was established that all patients with three-vessel coronary artery disease had comorbid pathology: 2–3 diseases were found in 32 patients (48.5%), comorbidity of 4–5 diseases – in 26 patients (39.4%), comorbidity of more than 5 diseases – in 8 patients (12.1%). The main structure of comorbidity in MI was determined: most frequently - 95.5% (63) arterial hypertension, 35% (23) - diabetes mellitus, 13.6% (9) - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 12% (8) - acute cerebrovascular event. The data of linear regression analysis has revealed a reliable correlation between the combination of comorbid pathology and multivessel coronary artery disease among the investigated patients (R2 = 1). Conclusions: The correlation between the combination of comorbid pathology and multivessel coronary artery disease in patients with acute myocardial infarction in the cardiology center was established.
