How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This work examines the current problems in the study of the kinship system of Kazakhs, which arenot considered comprehensively. The solution of problem requires further painstaking and comprehensivestudy. The purpose of research is to identify the most important problems in the typology andclassification of the kinship system, the study of which can be positively influence to the reconstructionof the structure of traditional Kazakh society. In contrast to the rapidly changing conditions of society, the kinship system remains stable in the historical development process. Therefore, its study remainsrelevant for modern ethnology. There have been used a method of component analysis, which allows to identify the internal lawsof the kinship system and structure the features of its functioning, identify its distinctive sides, and at thesame time determine the place of the “ego” in the overall picture of kinship. The problem of the typologyof the Kazakh kinship system is investigated and the difficulties in determining its place in the four-parttypology of kinship term systems developed at the beginning of the 20th century by A. Kreber, R. Lowyand W. Rivers are revealed. As a result of the research, we set tasks that will undoubtedly expand ourknowledge in the anthropology of the kinship of the Kazakh people.
