How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract This paper presents research results of the impact of high-energy krypton ions on structure and mechanical properties of ZrTiN coatings. The ZrTiN coatings were synthesized by the magnetron sputtering method on the substrates from Cr18Ni10Ti steel. Samples irradiated by 84Kr14 with energy 125 MeV to fluence 1016 cm−2 at room and 600°C temperatures. It established that irradiation resulted in significant changes in the surface structure, i.e. appearance of the coral-like structure. Formation of coral-like structure leads to degradation of mechanical properties such as hardness and corrosion resistance. Most significant changes surface structure and properties of coating observed after irradiation at room temperature.
