Abstract
The investment potential of the region, on the example of the Karaganda region is considers in the article.The analysis of the initial information obtained from regional statistical sources is carried out.The most significant indicators that determine the investment climate of the region are considered in the course of the study.Various approaches to investment policy are studied and the positive experience of Singapore is given.According to the authors, a significant development of the region will be facilitated by an increase in investment in human capital.It is human capital that ensures the acquisition and accumulation of new knowledge, contributes to the implementation of innovations and their practical implementation.
