How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this article, the authors, on the basis of ethnographic materials, attempted to uncover the ways and reasons for the deferred burials «amanatka koyu» («temporarily bury»), and their connection with aspects of the worldview of nomadic tribes, including the Kazakh people. They gave a description of the funeral rite of the deceased. Considered in the historical interrelation of the tradition of the burial of the Saka kings in the large pantheons, the burial of the Kazakh khans, biy rulers and batyrs in the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yassaui, as well as the tradition of spreading the news of the death of influential people. In addition, considered the burial without a corpse (cenotaph) occurring in the Kazakh people.
