How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The paper analyzes the remains of an architectural structure identified by the author as a pottery workshop. On the basis of analogy, the author made an attempt to describe the full cycle of production of ancient ceramics based on materials from the settlement of the Bronze Age of Shagalaly II. The article highlights some issues of the architectural features of the pottery workshop and their functional purpose. In the course of the study, archaeological material showed the coexistence in the settlement of two traditions of the production of ceramics «home» and «workshop». The work touched upon the appearance of pottery wheel in the steppe, and proposed criteria for determining pottery workshops on monuments of the Bronze Age.
