How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the emotional situation, mentality and behavior of insurgents, workers of Soviet, party and check bodies - the parties of the acute social conflict (power and peasantry) in the conditions of revolutionary time and civil war. On the basis of sources, an assessment is given of the uprising and the actions of insurgents by the representatives of the authorities, participants in the suppression of the insurrection. The author shows how insurgents viewed the policy of power in the village, the actions of the Prodarians and members of the RKP(b). The consideration is given to the attitude of the peasants to the nationalization of agricultural production, new forms of organizing the economy (communes and collective farms). The specifics of peasant political consciousness and the causes of counterrevolutionary and revolutionary terror in January-February 1921 in Western Siberia are revealed. The importance of the Soviets as elected local authorities for peasants is shown. The article gives an analysis of the emotional state of peasants and Cossacks who did not accept the social revolution of 1917 and the radical changes in society caused by the policy of war communism. Attention is drawn to the attempts of the insurgents to restore pre-revolutionary political, economic and legal institutions and norms.DOI 10.14258/izvasu(2017)5-03
