Abstract
The article is devoted to the features of the development of ecologicaltourism in the East Kazakhstan Region.Prerequisites of its developmentwere formulated in the region, difficulties of the development ofecotourismwere characterized and possible ways to overcome them wereconsidered. The current state of touristicrecreational ecological potentialof East Kazakhstan is being analyzed. The basic tendencies of developmentof the tourism industry were investigated, that ecotourism can be seen preciselythe balance, which can provide jobs and stable high incomes andsave intact wildlife. In regions such as the East Kazakhstan, ecotourism canhelp nature protection, growth of employment and socio-economic development.The conclusionsabout the perspectives of the ecological tourismin protected areas were made.
