Abstract
The possibility is investigated to produce the ceramic propping agents on base of natural raw alumina-silicate material of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was shown that Arkalyk's fire clays and Red-October's bauxites are the highly-basic alumina-silicate raw materials containing respectively 48,3 and 62,0 % of Al2O3 (on ignited basis). Bauxites have high iron impurities (22,3 %). The influence of the Red-October's bauxites' contents and of the raw material's preliminary heat treatment on the ceramic composition's sintering and strengthening at the sintering roasting within 1350‒1500 °C was explored. It was established that the raw mixture of the fire clay and 20‒30 % of bauxite is the most preferable for the producing of light ceramic propping agents. The effectiveness of the heat treatment at 1000 °C for the increasing of the ceramic samples' density and strength was demonstrated. The light alumina-silicate propping agents satisfying the GOST R 51761‒2013 demanding to the alumina-silicate propping agents were produced. Ill. 5. Ref. 20. Tab. 6.
