How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Alternative fuels for internal combustion engines become more and more complex. Scientist experiment with mixtures and supply two or three different fuels into the cylinder at a time. In this paper, we provide comprehensive survey of popular mixtures, such as gasoline/alcohol/hydrogen, methane/hydrogen and propane/hydrogen. Not only ecology is considered, but also consumer properties such as power, economy, etc. New fuels are compared to familiar ones. Results showed no simple solutions and revealed no "best" fuel. Authors propose to research mixture of propane and hydrogen. Review of motor properties showed that it is appropriate for wide range of motor vehicles from cars to commercial trucks. Furthermore, we propose next steps of research including method for IC engine control and production of hydrogen on board.
