How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A new variant of multilayered Ti-Hf-Si-N/NbN/Al2O3coatings were developed. Coatings were prepared by several deposition techniques such as plasma-detonation and vacuum-arc deposition using evaporation of the cathode. Nanocomposite coatings have a size of nanograins from 14-17 nm to 28-53 micron, high hardness from 21 to 56 GPa. The main advantage of such nano-and microstructure coating is a low coefficient of friction. Additionally the formation in the aluminum oxide and in the steel surface layer of transition zone with the formation of nanoscale phase and high value of hardness was detected.
