How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A new series of 1-alkyl-4-(3-naphthyloxyprop-1-ynyl)piperidine derivatives were synthesized starting from 1- and 2-naphtols through multi-step reactions. Their structures were elucidated by NMR spectroscopy and HRESIMS. The final compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antileishmanial, antimalarial, antibacterial and antifungal activities. Compounds 3 and 5 showed antimalarial activity against chloroquine-sensitive (D6) Plasmodium falciparum protozoan with an IC 50 value of 0.49 and 0.71 µg/mL and against chloroquine-resistant (W2) Plasmodium falciparum protozoan with an IC 50 value of 0.17 and 0.16 µg/mL respectively. Compounds 2, 5 and 6 showed antileishmanial activity against Leishmania donovani with an IC 50 of < 1.6, 2.44 and 2 µg/mL, and showed antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium intracellulare with an IC 50 value of 1.34, 6.95 and 3.63 µg/mL.
