How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

γ-ray and neutron irradiation effects on ferrous and ferric oxalates are investigated by methods of nuclear γ-resonance spectrometry in combination with a gravimetric analysis of the dose effect on the phase ratio. Samples are irradiated by γ-rays of an Co60-source with doses up to 1420 Mrad and by neutrons in the reactor core up to an integral dose of 5 × 1017 neutrons/cm2. It is found that only Fe3+ oxalate is susceptible to radiolysis while Fe2+ oxalate at the attained doses does not undergo any changes. The study reveales the fact that the probability of a recoilless process of the formed Fe2+ oxalate is 1.4 times less than that of FeC2O4. 2 H2O synthesized by a chemical way. Based on the obtained results the conclusion is drawn that the radiolysis of Fe3+ oxalate is caused by electronic ionization and exitation and does not depend on the nature of incident particles.
