How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A new mechanism of nucleation and growth of cells of the η phase in the deformed 36NKhTYu austenitic alloy has been found. The recrystallization nuclei are formed at the η-phase particles, which were precipitated according to the continuous mechanism. Simultaneously, they are nuclei of cells of discontinuous decomposition. Unlike the known growth mechanism, the η-phase cell grows in all directions until it collides with other cells. The Peterman-Hornbogen theory of discontinuous precipitation has been modified to describe the kinetics of the complex reaction of discontinuous precipitation of the η phase and recrystallization and also the kinetics of complex reaction of discontinuous coalescence of grains and phases. The theoretical dependences of the cell size on the aging time for these reactions are proportional to t 1/3 and t 1/4, respectively. A comparison of the theoretical and experimental results has been performed.
