How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The regular recurrence and intensification of droughts are a serious concern for the population in the Republic of Kazakhstan and around the world. The optimal measure to prevent the death of agricultural plants, along with agricultural practices and selection of drought-resistant varieties, is the use of preparations based on endophytic microorganisms that provide nonspecific plant resistance. In this study, a list of plants growing within the city and characterized by a high degree of drought resistance was compiled. Endophytic microorganisms have been isolated from the common knotgrass, which is ubiquitous in arid habitats. Vegetation experiments showed a 2.5-fold increase in the survival of wheat during drought simulation in plants treated with Polygonum aviculare endophytes with yellow and orange colonies. These isolates can be used in the further development of microbial preparations to increase plant resistance to drought.
