How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The efficiency of application of magnesite as an active filler of an epoxy polymer has been proved, which improves strength and changes physicochemical properties of epoxy composites. The optimal content of magnesite as a structuring additive and as a filler in the epoxy composition (0.1 and 100 wt %) was selected, at which magnesite strengthens the epoxy composite. It has been found that the introduction of magnesite into the epoxy composite leads to an increase in the Vicat heat resistance from 132 to 148–216°С, increases the thermal stability of the epoxy composite, therewith a shift in the initial temperature of destruction to the region of higher temperatures occurs. In addition, thermal destruction of the composite improves the yield of carbonized structures (from 54 to 70–83 wt %), which prevent the release of volatile pyrolysis products into the gas phase thereby result in a decrease in the flammability of the epoxy composite.
