How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Due to the increasing renewable energy sources penetration in the electric power systems and growing concerns about the environmental problems, power network operators attempt to evaluate the optimal economic dispatch of the units. This work proposes a new optimization algorithm named Environmental Economic Dispatch (EED), which aims to solve the multi-objective problem by evaluating wind power impacts on the power system. Thus, the penetration rate of the thermal and wind units will be balanced to minimize the costs. In order to demonstrate the capabilities of the proposed technique, different test scenarios have been considered. By comparing the results with the ones obtained using other techniques, the superiority and validity of the proposed technique is proven.
