How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The Kazakh people maintained the religious rites of their ancestors for a long time. Ancient beliefsand various cults formed the basis for tengrianism and shamanism. The cult for ritual worship of ancestral spirits(the cult of saints) was equally important. Respect for the dead brought about systematic and regular visits to apilgrimage and to the burial site. These places are named Holy Places. The goal of this paper is to research the roleof holy places in the revival of Folk Islam in Kazakhstan. Usually, the Kazakhs go to the graves of their ancestorsevery year because this trip is of benefit to the participants’ ancestors, which can help their descendants. Thesymbiosis formed from two traditions, the cult of the ancestors of the nomads plus the Sufi tradition of honoringteachers in Kazakhstan. Thus, a trip to the Saint Places implies a revival of the Folk Islam of Kazakhs.
