How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

To solve the problem of improving the wear and corrosion resistance of parts in mechanical engineering, the method of gas-thermal spraying of coatings is often used. The process of gas-thermal spraying makes it possible to obtain a protective coating by atomizing molten or heated material using a high-speed gas or plasma flow. As part of the study, a mathematical model describing the physical processes occurring during the spraying process was developed. The mathematical model makes it possible to determine the optimal modes of the process, providing the obtaining of coatings of a given thickness and properties. The developed mathematical model will allow process engineers to calculate process parameters more accurately and obtain coatings with specified characteristics. The maximum adhesive strength of the gas-thermal coating H18N10T (4.78 MPa) is observed at the maximum difference between the burner nozzle area and the sprayed area.
